Shravani is a 25 year old Dance Movement Therapy practitioner and a Drama and Movement Therapist in training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. With an expansive repertoire in the arts and over a decade of formal training in Indian classical dance, she has always been drawn towards exploring different creative mediums of expression.

She found her love for working with children using creative interventions while training to be a Dance Movement Therapy Practitioner in India. After completing her diploma, she co-founded an initiative called Creōspace which is an attempt to explore how creative arts can facilitate personal growth and holistic integration for people of all age groups. As part of her initiative, she has formulated and facilitated creative development sessions for a preschool for over 1 year where she worked with 3-5 year olds, engaging in multidisciplinary learning using creative arts. She is currently working at the mother and baby unit in Bethlem Royal Hospital and in a SEND school as a student dramatherapist and has previously facilitated group and individual sessions for pre-teens and teens. Her approach is process driven and she is extremely passionate about further exploring creative development and how that plays a role in the social, emotional and mental development of a child.

She is fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi and with every project she takes on, she aims at providing a safe space where individuals can explore freely and express their inner creativity. Having worked with a broad age range of children, she believes in the power of holistic growth and development.
