Ayla Pengelly-Moore

Ayla is a recent first-class graduate in BA Comedy, as part of the first ever graduating class of her course! Inspired by acting and comedy Ayla loves to improvise, play, create and perform. In her spare time she writes stand-up and other comedic comfort for others and performs Improv in various venues around London.  She has a passion for modern and gentle childcare and  works part-time in a nursery in North London where she is also studying for her Childcare Level 3 diploma. It is at this nursery where she combines both of her loves in life, the arts and childcare! 

Ayla began working with children in her teenage years when she babysat for her extended family for a few years, including an 8 year old and 15 month old twins with ASD. She took a break from this to pursue her studies and returned to Early Years education this year. In the nursery Ayla works one-to-one with a SEND child, and runs music classes once a week. Ayla is a driven learner and is currently learning Makaton, with the goal to be fluent in British Sign Language within two years.

Comedy and the arts have truly changed Ayla's life, giving her confidence and humility. She loves that comedy and childcare pair so well, allowing truly immersive and engaging play for children. As Ayla is prepared to journey on any adventure, be any character or create any world with your child and help them grow into a confident, resilient and imaginative individual.
