Georgie is an Expert Sitter!

This is based on a combination of hours worked, positive feedback received and skills/experience.

Georgie grew up in a big family with lots of younger cousins so has always loved being in a family environment and teaching children valuable life skills. After graduating from university she spent a year as a therapeutic care worker in a residential home for children who have experienced abuse and trauma. It has taught her so much and she has found it enormously rewarding. Although she loves her current job, she has always had a passion for creative subjects such as Art, Film and English Literature so she is leaving to start a Masters' in Film and TV production in Ealing. She loves painting, drawing, messy play, making things and singing along to music whilst we do it! She also believes it's really important to keep children active and encourages bike rides, walks, all kinds of sports and anything outdoors.

She is very hardworking and has developed a broad range of child care skills over the past year due to the high end behaviours she has experienced. She has training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Child development, Lone working and a number of other modules. She strongly believes in an empathetic child-centred approach and has worked with children between the ages of six to sixteen.
