A classic skeleton costume is always a good choice, and your kids can get involved and assist you. Just google up some skeleton designs and draw on a piece of paper. Cut out the drawing to create a stencil using the safety cutter. If you don’t have one at home, maybe ask a neighbour or you can use scissors. But we advise using a safety cutter because it streamlines the procedure and makes painting over the garment simpler. Next, place the stencil on the shirt and tape the edges to secure it. Paint over the stencil using a brush and this is where you can get your little ones involved. Remove the stencil and voila your skeleton outfit is ready! Moving onto the makeup, don’t be shy to powder up your little one’s face until it’s white. Then use black eyeshadow to create black circles around their eyes and a black liner to create jagged marks on the top and bottom lip.
We’re sure you have a little black dress somewhere in your tiny one’s closet but it’s okay if you don’t. The dress can be substituted for a black jumper and black skirt which makes it perfect for the slightly colder October days. Create a midpart and braid your child’s hair and there you have it - an adorable Wednesday Adams! Make sure you don’t forget about the black lipstick and the white collar shirt underneath the dress though, it’s crucial in taking the outfit to the next level.
What an ideal outfit for a family who enjoys horror films with a child who is unaware of the Halloween hype and crazy costumes! Pretty spot on if you’d ask me. Dress up your toddler in their striped shirt and dungarees and draw a diagonal line across their face and create some jagged lines using a black eyeliner. Your not-so-scary chucky is now ready to hit the streets for some well deserved candies!
You'll enjoy transforming your little child into a miniature version of the WWII icon. This outfit is the easiest of all with all basics that you’ll surely have in your youngster’s closet. Dress up your child in their denim shirt and jeans and add the red headband. The headband should ideally have white polka dots, but if it doesn't, don't freak out. You don't need to be so particular, everything will be just fine!
You don’t need to go down a rabbit hole when making this outfit. The fact that Velma's costume is in solid colours and a traditional style makes it so simple to duplicate. Just dress up your little girl in her jumper, skirt, socks and shoes. Draw some tiny freckles on her face using an eyeliner and add some black specs to complete the look. If you don't think this screams "cuteness overload," I'm not sure what else to believe.
