Rebecka Oberg

Rebecka is a Swedish creative nanny whose background is in music, theatre and film.

She has worked as a manager and a carer in summer camps for children with SEN. She has also helped homeschool children during her time as an au-pair and she has worked in SEN pre-schools. She is a pro in planning creative activities as well as improvising accordingly in relation to the situation. Rebecka is highly flexible and loves using creativity as a way to engage children of different ages. She also enjoys any kind of DIY projects, crafts or painting.

Rebecka has been playing the violin since she was 2 years old and still plays at an advanced level. Rebecka gets on well on piano and ukulele and she's been singing a lot in choirs, bands and also done some solo work. Rebecka reads sheet music and finds it fairly easy to pick up new instruments. For creative child care, this means that she can teach rhythm and music theory through play, as well as use different instruments. She loves singing to children she babysits and has a passion for sharing her love for music with the little ones.

Rebecka has experience working with children of all ages and has been working with children with learning disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy and down syndrome.

Rebecka is multilingual and other than English and Swedish, which she speaks as a native, she also speaks Spanish at conversational level and knows the basics in German.
