Nancy Pilkington

Nancy is a young, professional, creative artist currently living in West London.
She is looking for work in the surrounding areas where she can synthesise her experience of working with children and her passion for arts and crafts.

Nancy has worked consistently with a 7-10 year old boy with ADD, a 13-16 year old girl and one off with a 4 year old with Autism. She is experienced in bringing creativity into children's lives and often prepares creative exercises involving drawing, storytelling, puppetry and performance.

Working with SEND children has given her the tools and confidence needed to assist different ways of thinking, she has developed a skilled patience with children and finds craft a particularly useful way to bring focus and the imagination into their lives.

Nancy is trained as a painter and finished her degree in Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art with a First. Her own explorations in the arts facilitate the way she moves through the world and enables her to engage in a generative, creative dialogue with children.
