George Evans

George is a recent Distinction graduate in MA Professional Acting, with nearly a decade of childcare experience under his belt. He is a performer at heart, as an actor, singer and musician, and champions the idea that the best way for children to learn and grow is through creatively expressing themselves.

George started his childcare experience babysitting for family friends during his latter school years, and has since worked as a camp counselor in the US, a classroom assistant, and assistant director at a local youth theatre company. In these roles he's had residential experience spending 24 hours a day with children for multiple months, and has taught drama, art, music, and a whole host of sports to children from ages 4-16. He's also experienced working as an activity workshop host, running role play sessions where children live a day in the life of a firefighter, or radio DJ, Secret Agent, and many more.

With both creative and academic degrees - the latter being a History bachelor's degree, George is adept at enhancing your childcare experience both creatively and academically. He has experience tutoring and aiding with homework with children up to and including GCSE level. He's a keen sportsman, musician, and cook, and is eager to involve these practices in the sessions alongside his drama experience. He is passionate about allowing children to freely express themselves creatively and believes it is one of the cornerstones of building the confidence and personalities of young children.

George is friendly, engaging, and open minded. Most importantly, he's eager to throw himself into every kind of creative activity and be completely enveloped in the imaginative worlds of the children he works with. He has vast experience across all forms of creative disciplines and is excited about providing your children with multi-disciplinary sessions that encompass lots of different forms of creativity all in one!
