Efthymia Maria Dementi (EFI)

Efthymia-Mari Dementi is a creative nanny. Her background is in theatre as an actress. She is not currently active but occasionally works as a voice for artists. She is also experimenting with other art forms such as dance, visual arts and ceramics. She works as a nanny, and has led drama workshops and holiday clubs. She gets a lot of inspiration from young people’s creativity and gives them back a lot of encouragement and stimulation.

She has worked with kids from 8 months to 12 years with many different families. She uses creative practices such as improving, art, dance, and video to encourage creative expression. 

She has worked a lot with toddlers, facilitating their first steps to independence. 

Her approach is child-led, adapting to each child’s desires and abilities, creating a fun stimulating experience with safe boundaries.

Efthymia has a great connection with kids and toddlers. She has a Masters in Theatre in education with a focus on learning through doing. She has recently completed a course in mental illness with kids and young people, nurturing her interest in mental health. She is a fan of holistic and oriental medicine and is currently training in Shiatsu massage.
