Charles Crockett

Charles is an experienced art tutor with 11 years as a practitioner, specialising in painting, printing and graphic design for GCSE.
Charles ran a screen printing and printmaking studio in Kensington, teaching design theory and printmaking in his print studio.

After becoming a father, Charles adopted his teaching methods for early age groups, focusing on large group creative sitter sessions.

“I would say the bulk of my understanding of young children is from my son, It has been such a wonderful journey instructing and encouraging his interests, seeing him flourish is my greatest joy”

After his son went to boarding school, Charles decided to take creative sitting more seriously, developing innovative drawing and painting exercises, thoroughly enjoying spreading the joy of art in others, especially being the kickstart a child needed to pursue their artistic endeavours.

In a session with Charles, you can expect fun, structured, printmaking. He carefully constructs creative activities across age groups and capability.

Believing that any environment can be a creative environment, regardless of materials and equipment, Charles looks to encourage young minds in finding creative opportunities in everyday situations and environments Possessing a BA Hons from London College of Fashion, Charlie is driven to improve, working for some of the UK's biggest clothing brands and advertising agencies.
