Malikah Phillips

Malikah is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, born and raised in London with a Caribbean background. Malikah has recently started her first year at ICMP studying a bachelors in creative musicianship. Besides music, Malikah also has a passion for abstract art and has been sketching for years now.

Malikah has had experience babysitting 4yo+ since the age of 16 she would mainly help with homework and allow the children to lead how they wanted their babysitting to go. Malikah is also a student ambassador and part of the role includes working with students from different schools in an educational setting, creating tasks to encourage the children to tap into their own creativity.

Malikah, although having an extensive background in music, she also enjoys anything under the umbrella of creativity. Whether that be painting/drawing, crafts, dancing and even gardening. Malikah is also a massive foodie so cooking/baking is something she really enjoys.

Malikah finds working with children to be incredibly rewarding, especially within creative field's as it is so important for children to explore this side of themselves and have fun. Malikah also believes in having a holistic approach to everything she does.
