Alix is a French and American freelance dancer. She was raised multi-culturally being born in Paris then living in Lebanon, Morocco, Switzerland until finally moving to London for her studies in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

When she was 15 she discovered her love for working with children through babysitting and assisting in dance classes for children ages 2 to 15 years old. From then on her experience continued as a dance teacher to children of all ages in various styles of dance, and more recently working with 2-8 year olds teaching pre-ballet. Additionally, she is an English as a Second Language tutor for primary school children. As a result of her work with a variety of cultures, ages and styles of dance the importance of inclusion and empathy have become all the more important and is encouraged to those she works with. She loves to see children fall in love with the creative arts, each of them in their own way.

As a dance artist, who has trained in contemporary dance, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre and Bollywood, her aim when introducing movement is to share the love for dance and the joy of movement to young minds. During her sessions she uses a variety of props, physical games, improvisation and songs to engage the children's creativity. She encourages children to collaborate, take risks and try new things to help strengthen their self-esteem. With an interest in dance movement therapy she offers a safe space for children to express themselves freely and explore their physicality.

Alix loves music, books, and being outdoors! She’s more than happy to do a sing-a-long as well as dancing.
