About our sitters
The arts can be a great contributor to children’s growth. Artistic activities in a range of disciplines have been proven to foster emotional growth, cognitive development, the development of vocabulary and motor skills to name a few. CocoRio upgrades traditional babysitting by incorporating tailored, artistic, safe and age appropriate activities into sessions with the child – these can also be conducted in a language other than English if you so choose. All this is facilitated by our fantastic sitters who we are ever so proud of! Each and every one of them have a unique creative set of skills, and they are all excited to share this expertise with your children, both in person and virtually.
Ophelia is a graduate from RNCM in classical singing and has been working as a creative and multilingual babysitter for the past few years. Ophelia is bilingual - she also speaks perfect French and can offer creative sessions in that language.
While babysitting and working as an au-pair, Ophelia has developed experience as a music and English tutor as well!
Ophelia’s expertise is learning/teaching songs by ear as this is how she learnt as a child following Montessori method.
Ophelia believes singing and music are an essential part of any childhood and an amazing way of connecting with children.
Izzi is a freelance Drama practitioner and actor. Her expertise is running holistic, drama-based workshops which allow children to explore their curriculum topics in a creative way. Izzi also has a wealth of experience running online sessions.
Izzi loves working with primary school age children and has extensive experience in EYFS classes and with SEN children, having worked for four years as an Interventions Coordinator in the EYFS class at a Centre for Autism.
Izzi is currently training part-time at Caspa Arts and finds her training is invaluable to her when devising creative, drama based activities to share with children. Izzi is also a trained singer and she often incorporates vocal elements into her sessions, particularly with younger children.
Lucrezia is an actor-singer from Milan, Italy with a passion for creating and puppeteering. Lucrezia has recently graduated from East 15 Acting School on the BA Acting (International) course after a foundation course at Drama Centre.
Lucrezia has been teaching Musical Theatre to kids from 6 to 18 years of age, introducing them to singing, acting and dancing. During lockdown she also gave virtual singing lessons on Skype.
Lucrezia is perfectly fluent in Italian and English, and she also speaks
Spanish to a conversational level so she can lead her sessions in all these languages.

Angelie is a creative workshop facilitator specialised in working with young people currently working as a Freelance Workshop & Centre Leader for Sparks Film & Media Arts. Angelie has also completed a Masters degree in Digital Media from Goldsmiths, University of London and a Bachelors degree in New Media from the University of Leeds.
Angelie has three years of experience working as a film-making workshop facilitator. Alongside film-making, she has storytelling, creative writing and media skills that she can use to engage and mentor children from six to fifteen years old. On the movement side, Angelie is also a tap dancer so could support your children with its practice if necessary.
Angelie is also an expert in Photoshop and can teach children and young adults all about its secrets!
Christina has extensive childcare experience having babysat and worked with children of all ages between the ages of 1 - 15. With two younger brothers, she has looked after younger children for as long as she can remember, with her first professional childcare experience being when she was a child herself, helping out at a kindergarten.
Fast forward a few years, at age 19, Chris went to New York as an au pair and looked after twin girls aged two.
Throughout her career as an artist, she often continued to look after children, helping them with homework and art work in particular.
Christina also worked for the British Macrobiotic Summer Camp, facilitating workshops for teenagers.
A few years back, she discovered art therapy and has since assisted with art therapy classes as well as facilitated her own art therapy-based workshops for mothers and toddlers.
Francis is a 2020 BA Acting Graduate from East 15 Acting school. Francis has experience working with and looking after children and young adults. Francis has been working as a Creative Learning Assistant in theatres, assisting and leading weekly groups, directing productions, going into schools for artistic outreach programs. Francis has experience working with children and adults with multiple learning and physical disabilities.
Francis has also been working as an elf entertaining children in their homes. This also involved improvising with children and going off script to fit their needs and interests.
Francis can entertain children and young adults by creating performances with them, as well as assisting them with their homework. Francis is dyslexic and dyspraxic, and therefore can provide personal alternative learning styles to help individuals who have learning difficulties.
Francis also has experience in stage combat and could safely teach aspects of unarmed combat.
Jenny is a freelance musician and educator based in Sheffield. She is a professional drummer and percussionist.
Over the years, Jenny has been delivering specialist classroom education within Early Years Centres and Primary Schools, ages 3 to year 6. Jenny’s expertise is providing a unique form of education based around music merging the performance and academic elements. Jenny is also an instrumental teacher, covering 1-1 and small group tuition.
Jenny has extended experience working with children with learning disabilities and difficulties, including Low Functioning Autism, behavioural needs and emotional needs and profound disabilities.
Arina is a kind, caring and patient professional who enjoys working with children of all ages, especially babies and toddlers. Originally from Romania, Arina has studied Pedagogy at a young age.
Arina has experience working in a school setting, including Montessori nurseries and as a one-to-one babysitter. With young children she is experienced in potty training and teaching general life skills including hygiene and manners.
Arina is also a musician, she sings and plays the piano and the guitar. She loves incorporating music into her caring for young children to entertain them and engage them creatively.
As Arina’s mother tongue is Romanian, she can provide language immersion sessions in this language.

Celia is an award-winning harpist about to graduate from University of Sheffield with a degree in Music and Hispanic Studies. With expertise in music education, Celia is passionate about promoting equal access to the arts and the benefits of creative learning. She speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish and has employed all three languages in her numerous teaching roles.
A wealth of experience across two continents, Celia is highly skilled at working with children and young people. Working for the NGO Etiv do Brasil, she delivered courses on environmental awareness through the medium of Portuguese, mentored a young child with learning difficulties and offered immersive Spanish lessons. She found music and art really helped to engage students during classes and resolve behavioural issues. She has taught English in Spain and Argentina, preparing students for Cambridge certificates.
Most recently, Celia has delivered music workshops for Sheffield Music Hub in local primary schools. She has found using her small lap harp to be an enormously successful way of engaging young children and inspiring their creative minds. For the past four years, she has volunteered on the Royal Northern College of Music’s Young Harps scheme, where she continues to support children’s learning of a new skill and helps them build confidence when performing. Thanks to years of babysitting, Celia has worked with many different age ranges and always adapts her tutoring style accordingly.
Eleanor’s expertise lies in acting, having worked in the theatre and screen industries for the past four years. Her credits include both new writing and Shakespeare play productions, as well as children’s theatre (Santa’s Mixed Up Martian, New Wimbledon Theatre).
As a Speech and Drama teacher, Eleanor has over six years of experience with children aged 3 to 15. The highlight of her week is her kids’ drama lesson, during which she fills every acting, poetry and movement exercise with endless enthusiasm and imagination. She has devised and delivered acting workshops for Italia Conti summer camps and has extensive experience safeguarding children thanks to her role as a theatre chaperone. In addition to English, Eleanor speaks Irish and French and offers tuition in these languages.

Maryam is a drama facilitator who is extremely passionate about using theatrical modes to creatively enrich and empower children of ages 5-18. Maryam’s creative expertise centres around theatre, from acting and writing to storytelling and also loves the arts and crafts.
Maryam has recently graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a First Class (Honours) in BA Drama & Theatre Studies and is about to pursue an MA in Applied Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.
Maryam has a lot of experience working with pre teens and teens, including vulnerable children with behavioural problems aged 11 to 13.
Maryam knows and uses Makaton sign language. This encourages her to supplement her speech with gestures and signs after observing the benefits of using non-verbal communication when connecting with any child, regardless of whether they use Makaton in their daily lives.
Alessandra is a multilingual teacher for children 6 to 15 years old. She is fluent in Italian, French and Spanish together with English!
Alessandra has a wealth of experience supporting students with SEN (Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD) in a learning environment, especially in literacy and numeracy.
Alessandra’s creative expertise is a passion for board games and arts and crafts. She also loves storytelling and reading to and with children.
Melanie has a masters degree in Applied Theatre and a bachelor in Comparative Literatures. Melanie is a creative teacher and workshop facilitator and has a lot of experience working with young people and children in various settings as well as running messy play toddler groups for parents-carers and their children.
Since lockdown, she has been sending out art-packs to children she has been teaching with Action for Refugees.
Melanie loves sharing her craft, creative writing, drama expertise to children of all ages.
Melanie is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of German so she is available for sessions in both languages.
Charlie has worked extensively as a Theatre and Music Facilitator over the years leading workshops, activity days, events and performing shows in schools and theatres. She started her London career as a children's entertainer at Hamleys Toyshop where she performed daily puppet shows, parties and tours, working with all ages.
Charlie has specific experience of teaching music to early years using games and songs to encourage musical theory and the joy of singing! She also has experience working as theatre facilitator for SEN shows. Charlie has worked with Old Vic New Voices and NCS The Challenge (drama workshops for Secondary Schools) and creating interactive theatre workshops in Primary School settings with Polka Theatre, Unique Voice, Freshwater Theatre, Pzazz, Shakespeare's School Festival, Bigfoot and 7Billion Ideas. She has also previously run for 3 years, her own theatre school that focused on devising and songwriting.
All of these experiences have given her the playfulness, patience and practical techniques necessary for work of this nature and she absolutely loves working with young people in this capacity.
Charlie is also an Actor/Musician; she sings, plays Guitar, Flute and a little Ukulele and Percussion and gigs regularly as a solo folk musician. Since leaving her role in the Music department of Shakespeare's Globe back in 2016, she has worked on various productions as a Composer, Actor and Musician and found these experiences have provided invaluable techniques, confidence and a drive for sharing my passion for the Arts.
Lucy is a professionally trained actress who has been working in the industry for the past four years. She has performed touring shows around the UK with various theatre companies and has created and organised children’s charity shows in theatres.
Lucy has over 9 years’ experience of working with children aged 2-18. As a teacher of performing arts, Lucy delivers singing, dancing, acting and storytelling sessions. She leads drama workshops in schools and works as a teaching assistant in a primary school. A licensed chaperone, Lucy has also worked safeguarding children in a theatre setting.

Vicky’s background is as a classical violinist and pianist. After a career as a classical violin player, she decided to move towards teaching - and has a PGCE - working with children and communities using music to engage them. Vicky has been working in special schools engaging children with different abilities and needs including multiple and profound learning difficulties.
Vicky also works creating the Cambridge International Examination music programmes and works as a peripatetic keyboard teacher in primary schools.
Vicky is also the Music Leader at Brighton & Hove Music & Arts leading a band with a group of children with SEND.
Vicky is a mum of a three year old and loves exploring music with children of all ages including preschool!
Kieran’s creative expertise lies in film making, visual arts and design and has worked with big names such as the Barbican Centre, ArtClubbers, Spotlight summer school and Boxpark to name only a few.
Through his art as well as through his other interests, Kieran has gained extensive experience working with children having been a babysitter for over 5 years, a mathematics tutor and a creative leader for summer school workshops and has worked with age groups ranging from 4 to 15 years. Kieran also worked for the NHS where he often entertained young patients as they waited for their appointments, families often complimenting him for his flair with children.
To add to his ranging interests, Kieran also has expertise in working with children with autism and special educational needs and has learnt numerous adaptive SEN strategies to keep children safe, engaged and learning.

Viola is a professional dancer, vocationally trained in ballet, modern and tap dance in Italy. Viola moved to London in 2017 to follow her passion for the performing arts. Since then she has also completed her professional teaching qualifications with the ISTD (International Society of Teachers of Dancing).
Viola has experience working with different age-groups - from babies and pre-school age to 17 years old, thanks to different dance teaching and creative workshop positions across the city.
Viola believes that the arts are vital in every child's upbringing and especially music, singing and any kind of creative moment can help children to develop body confidence and awareness, become more open to others and the surrounding environment. In her sessions she loves exposing children of all ages to music and movement!
As a native Italian speaker, Viola can lead language immersion sessions in Italian as well.
Tom is a drummer, music producer and dj. From HMV to Abbey Road Studios, Glastonbury Festival to Sierra Nevada, Spain, Tom has been fortunate enough to work in some incredible locations around England and Europe.
Though Tom’s main passion is live drumming, he has several years of experience in the music industry as a studio engineer with award-winning record producer Youth.Tom’s skills are not just limited to music. Freelance work in TV & Advertising as a Production Runner and Director’s Assistant has kept me busy thanks to Grammy- nominated film producer Rupert Style. Tom has also released his debut single with his own project, Nettlemouth.
Tom is currently training as a pilates instructor and looking to further his peripatetic teaching at schools in the Croydon area and beyond. His work with children is mainly with Key Stage 2 and 3. Tom is available to teach the drums and anything related to music online and in person!
Borbala Mezo is a puppeteer. She is the co-founder of the company Hopeful Monster, whose first show premiered at Beverley Puppet Festival in 2018 and has since been touring internationally. Over the past five years Borbala has performed as an actor and puppeteer in a great number of shows, including I Have Strings in 2019, whose community outreach programme led to a tour of local schools and accompanying educational workshops. Recently she has been part of a collaboration to create a piece of documentary theatre.
Borbala is a highly experienced nanny and babysitter who has cared for children aged 0-11 for numerous families. Having performed in several interactive children’s shows, Borbala has an aptitude for capturing children’s attention. She always actively encourages children to explore their creativity and she achieves this through singing, dancing, drawing, role playing and doing crafts and outdoor activities with them.
Maja is an actor based in London - her experience ranges from film and tv to theatre and musicals. Maja has extensive experience working as a teaching assistant across many levels (nursery, KS1, secondary, SEN) and as a creative babysitter.
Maja loves using music and drama games to engage children of all ages (0 to 15 years old!)
As a native Polish speaker, Maja can lead language immersion sessions in Polish as well.
Liz specialises in acting, drama and performing arts. She has worked in the industry since 2007, in areas such as children’s theatre, stage acting and arts education. She also writes poetry and does costume character work for children’s events and parties.
Most recently, Liz has been involved in some online projects, including writing and reading bedtime stories, delivering ‘Funny phonics’ and getting involved in local community projects related to creative writing. She has created Cabin Fever, an interactive performance starring a ‘puzzled pirate’, with the aim of helping children cope with national lockdown.
Liz has worked as a general classroom learning support assistant, providing support to children aged 4-16 years with SEN, physical disabilities and learning difficulties. Liz currently teaches drama and performing arts to children aged 3-18 years with a local theatre school.

Hannah is a wonderful musician who plays the violin. She is currently studying violin performance at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She has a wealth of experience running music workshops for little ones. In addition to creating her own activities, she has worked with the Montessori method.
Having taught songs for children in foreign languages, she has a strong interest in languages and their accurate pronunciation. She enjoys reading children's books, particularly those in foreign languages. Having studied Latin at school, Hannah is able to explain the roots of many words in the hope that they become more easily recognisable as the child reads further.
Hannah has been surrounded by children her whole life with a large family and a plethora of cousins who now have their own children. She loves playing, singing, dancing and acting with children and they're always worn out and ready for bed by the end!
Originally from France, Candice’s expertise lies in theatre. Most recently, Candice has written and performed in Gazes by Impossible Theatre and directed, produced and acted in Skewered by The Paper Theatre. She specialises in improvisation and often works with the French British Improvisation.
Candice has a wealth of experience with children, encompassing roles in teaching, entertaining and safeguarding. Candice worked as a puppet teacher in Paris for three years, helping children aged 3 to 6 years to make their own puppets and put on their own shows. As an entertainer at hotels and summer camps in France, she engaged children through interactive storytelling, games, crafts and dance performances. In London, she looked after a total of 6 children–some as young as 8 months–as an au pair. Candice has recently been a performer at the Golden Hind, where she delighted school groups visiting the ship as a pirate.
Candice is currently working as an online French teacher, tutoring children and adults alike in French from beginner to advanced level.

Emily is an all-round creative sitter! She has been working as a creative facilitator running sessions with children using a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, printing, slime making, clay, cyanotype, story-telling and creative writing, collage, drama, improvisation and singing. Emily also plays the guitar and piano! Emily is currently studying a part-time masters in Museum Cultures.
Emily believes that an artistic education can enhance children’s confidence, communication and resilience and makes a positive impact on the rest of children’s lives. Emily is experienced working with young people with a wide range of abilities and needs, including SEND. Emily is confident in adapting sessions to each learner’s needs and on making them engaging and fun.
With school-aged children, Emily uses games and creativity to provide excellent one-to-one learning support.
Carmela is a qualified and experienced child care worker who believes in developing a child’s independence and confidence through structured play and stimulating fun activities. She has worked in a variety of child care settings and she has experience with children with special needs. She speaks English, Italian, some French and Spanish. Carmela’s artistic expertises are the arts and crafts, using all materials found in the home to make extraordinary creations.
Most recently Carmela has worked as Play Co-ordinator at Prison Advice & Care Trust, HM Prison Wormwood Scrubs and as Relief Carer at Westminster Carers Service and Hospital Play Specialist at Charing Cross, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. She has NNEB Certification (now CACHE LEvel 3) and experience acting as a witness and writing reports for social workers.

Zipora is a sweet and caring young woman who loves creativity in all its forms! Zipora loves music and she plays the piano and the guitar, and is also an artist and loves painting and colour!
Zipora has a lot of experience working with children of different age-groups. Since she was a teenager, she has been teaching classes to pre-school children and working as a nanny, as well as volunteering at her local church group, organising fun and creative activities for children.
Aside from her love for the arts, Zipora is a physics student at Queen Mary University and believes loves science as much as creativity!
Being a native German speaker, Zipora can lead language immersion sessions in German. Zipora absolutely loves German nursery rhymes!
Olga is currently a BA Fine Art student at Chelsea College of Arts. She has extensive babysitting experience. At one point, a few years ago, she was babysitting six children in total, across the ages of three to fifteen. Her duties included but were not limited to childcare, picking children up from school and nursery, making healthy and delicious home cooked
meals, helping with homework and extracurricular activities, general house work, as well as mentor the children enhance their creativity through various arts & crafts activities, which she always invented herself.
Olga is a creative individual and artist who absolutely loves teaching kids creative skills through art. Her activities with children have involved illustrating a small book full of drawings created by the kids and printed copies to sell at a charity fair in school. Olga has also created a one day arts & crafts workshop for all of the children she used to babysit and their
friends, in which they spent the day learning how to make collages and use various media when creating art work. At the same time, she made a separate table for the adults in which they were learning life-drawing inspired by Van Gogh.
As well as painting she has experience in sculpture making and ran a face-painting booth at a kids parties.
Olga loves working with children and caring for them in all situations, especially if she can help during a challenging time for the children and their family. She especially like the way children make, view and understand art, as well as how effortless their creations are.
Olga's native languages are Russian and Ukranian and she also speaks Greek at begginer level so she can provide sessions in these three languages together with English.
Emma is studying MA in Applied Theatre (Educational, Social and Community contexts) at Goldsmiths University to further her drama education.
Aside from theatre, Emma also loves photography and plays the violin! She is also a great advocate for mindfulness and yoga.
Emma has a wealth of experience working with children of all ages as a nanny and as a drama educator.
Emma is bilingual and is a native French as well as English speaker!
Yolanda de Linares
As a professional dancer Yolanda has always loved to give back to the community offering her skills and experience to support the learning of others’.
Yolanda has been teaching children from three to eighteen years old for five years, offering gymnastics, dance and sports lessons. She is also passionate about martial arts and acting.
Yolanda loves being an example for children and young adults, inspiring them with her professional career as a dancer and performer.
Starting from small performances, Yolanda has already landed dancing at the Royal Opera House for La Traviata, as well as filming for Hollywood and Bollywood productions as an actress and dancer.
Yolanda is a Spanish native and also has an intermediate level of German language. She can tutor children in these languages, or even teach dance/acting in Spanish!
As Yolanda masters many types of dance: from ballet to hip hop, including flamenco, modern and contemporary, please let us know the dance style you would like to practice as she probably knows all about it!
Leticia is a patient, encouraging and positive theatre educator who is trained as an actor and has recently graduated from MA Actor Training and Coaching. Leticia is also a qualified psychologist.
As a theatre educator, Leticia has experience working with children and vulnerable groups including young refugees in Brittany.
Leticia’s training as a psychologist and then as an actor and acting coach has endowed her with high interpersonal skills and creativity that she finds fundamental as an educator. Leticia loves working with children to enhance their creative agency and unique skills and to increase their opportunities.
In her sessions, Leticia loves to include games, singing, dancing, storytelling, arts and crafts and sports.
Leticia’s native language is Spanish and she is highly experienced teaching Spanish in a fun and dynamic way to children through play.

Tom is a theatre director, dramaturg, teacher and communication skills facilitator with twenty years’ experience. His credits include Fringe First and Amnesty International Award-winning The Container and the critically acclaimed Home Sweet Home and Blake Remixed.
He has taught acting, directing and playwrighting to professionals, drama school students and young people in local schools and youth theatres. In addition to professional stage productions, he has led hundreds of hours of workshops with young people for companies such as the Young Vic, Bigfoot Theatre, GLYPT, Hampstead Theatre, TENDER. He also ran the Royal & Derngate Youth Theatre and founded a youth theatre in Bradford for Freedom Studios.
Tom is qualified to support the primary school curriculum with his workshops on Storytelling, Shakespeare, Public Speaking and Physical Theatre to name but a few. He also has experience using these sessions to educate children on PSHE issues.
Helen is a Creative Expressive Arts, Health and Wellbeing student at Derby University.
In her creative workshops with children, Helen employs music, visual art, drama, and mostly dance. Helen has been dancing for twenty-one years, since she was a child. Her expertises are ballet, modern, contemporary and hip hop.
In May 2015 Helen started working as a dance teacher and assistant for children with SEND. Helen has a wealth of experience as a creative babysitter especially with children aged 6 to 15 years old.
Helen is a native Italian speaker so she can lead language immersion sessions too!
Melissa is an all round artist! She is a freelance Fashion and Costume professional and has been working in the industry for the last 5 years. She has always had a passion for all things theatre which led her to enrol in a Musical Theatre course at Arts Educational Schools 3 years ago. Wanting to go further, she took a couple of years out from work to focus on gaining dance and singing skills through private singing lessons and dance classes to enrol in a full time Musical Theatre course.
Melissa is also a trained classical pianist with music reading skills, a seamstress and has good drawing skills.
Her experience working with children is as teaching assistant at performing art schools, working with varied age-groups and settings.
Melissa’s mission is to nurture and encourage creativity in babies, toddlers and young children.
Melissa speaks fluent French, good Italian and basic Spanish.

Ignacio has always been passionate about working with children using creativity. He has experience as a music teacher and private tutor with children of all ages and standards for over five years in Spain and the UK.

Ana loves using different materials in her sessions, for example, pencil, graphite, charcoal, sepia, oil, acrylic, tempera, gouache, watercolour, encaustic and other ‘invented mixtures’.
As she has been working on restoration projects, Ana can make her own paint with pigments, binders, primers, natural/ synthetic glues as well as prepare all sorts of surfaces - wall, canvas, wood, steel, glass, and wax. Ana also loves other mediums including photography, printmaking, and video.
Ana is experienced working with children with Special Education Needs, as a teaching assistant.

Mariana’s creative specialisms are the visual arts, film and photography and she is a freelance graphic designer as well as a creative sitter.
Mariana has been working with children as a creative nanny and as a workshop facilitator using creativity to engage children of all ages. Her main work has been supporting Latinx children who are still adjusting to learning English as a second language, supporting them in the process.

Lily has been working as a creative sitter and nanny since 2014 while studying for her degree in Music Business and Arts Management. Emily has also been learning French since she was a child and it is her second language to this day, which has been invaluable as a cultural experience. She is familiar with teaching through play both English and French languages.
Andrea is a London based bilingual (English-Spanish) actor. She is very enthusiastic, energetic and bubbly. After graduating from the Asturias School of Performing Arts (Spain) she has taken part in a wide range of plays, from more traditional theatre shows to immersive and participatory theatre. Andrea has also been part of different Short Films, Documentaries and Voice-over projects.
Alongside acting, teaching has always been her other passion. Andrea teaches English, Spanish, Drama, Arts and Crafts, Music and Movement and Modern Dance to children and teenagers in different Art Schools and Academies in the UK and Spain and has been doing so for over 9 years.
Andrea is also a master of kids parties. She now also understood the dynamics of doing so online, and it has really made her develop new strategies and ways of teaching, performing and communicating.

Evangelia is a Greek, London-based choreographer, performer, dance teacher and Greek language teacher. Evangelia can lead movement, dance and dance theatre sessions with children aged 4+. She has a passion for any sort of creative play, and especially the arts and crafts.
Evangelia has studied Greek Philology with expertise in Linguistics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. For the last 14 years she has been teaching Greek to students of primary and secondary school as well as Greek as a foreign language to students of all ages and levels. Anne is a French designer and artist living in London. Anne specialises in landscape architecture and masterplanning, graphic design and illustration.

Michelle has an MA in Fine Art and History of Art from the University of Edinburgh. Michelle is a filmmaker currently working on a screenplay, as well as other creative projects. MIchelle is experienced in facilitating creative activities and events and has worked with children at all ages.
Michelle loves all visual arts, poetry and drama and can use elements of these art forms during her sessions.
Her native language is Spanish, so she can lead language immersion activities in Spanish :)

Paolo has studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths University and is currently working developing his art practice which includes writing, collage, painting and drawing.
Paolo’s experience working with children includes working as a workshop facilitator in different museums in London as well as working as a creative sitter. Having also worked as a teacher, including delivering one-to-one lessons for young children, Paolo is experienced in providing a stimulating and exciting environment for children in a variety of settings.

Esther has been a part of Bristol Old Vic Theatre’s Young Company since she was nine years old and then went on to lead drama sessions with ages from 4 up to 15. This involved doing drama activities and games with them.

Stella is an Italian dance artist trained at the Laban Conservatoire. For the past ten years, Stella has been performing for several artists and starter leading movement classes for children aged under five and their families. Stella is also a mother of a two year old child herself.
During her sessions, Stella enjoys using a mixture of dance, physical play, props, rhymes and improvisation to support the children’s physical development but also their creative, explorative mind. They will be able to explore different kinds of objects such as large stretchy fabrics, hoops, ribbons, feathers, sugar bubbles and a large parachute. Children will be challenged to perform exercises with these objects introducing new movement skills to their physical language but also developing their confidence and self esteem. Through observation and listening, the little ones will develop their imagination, they will learn about persistence and collaborative skills. They will also improve their body and spatial awareness, practicing control and coordination of their body moving in different directions, levels and sizes.
Stella can adapt her movement ideas to suit different ages, abilities, spaces or limitations. She can also offer themed sessions with specific props to make it all more exciting for special occasions.

Theresa is a professional actor who absolutely loves working with children using creativity. Theresa’s experience working with children spans from being a creative sitter to working at educational summer camps to nannying and previously as a teacher’s assistant for children with special needs.
During her sessions Theresa loves including drama, dance, music work, and visual arts. She also loves poetry and creative writing.

Leo (Leandro) Pestana
Leo (Leandro) is a multidisciplinary artist from Brazil. He is a guitarist, music producer, event producer, band leader and workshop facilitator. He has studied at Guildhall School of Music
and Drama. Leo also loves capoeira, samba music, theatre, painting (especially watercolor), writing poetry, rap,making sculptures with terracotta, and cooking.
Leo can also play the ukulele and other string instruments including the bass and a little bit of piano and percussion. He can also facilitate singing warmups.
His approach to working with children teaching music involves mixing mindfulness with music together, to keep centred, calm and focused. Leo’s sessions involve mindfulness/meditation, body percussion, developing a sense of rhythm and music time with various exercises and fun games. This aims at developing children’s social and emotional confidence.
Leo’s first approach to connecting with new children is often talking about “ninja techniques”,
ninja cartoons that children may know about.
Leo has experience working with children with autism and SEND teaching music and mindfulness.
